Swallow a small capsule containing the deflated gastric balloon. It is connected to a very thin catheter that the doctor will use to inflate the balloon with water after it is placed in your stomach. X-rays are used to make sure the Balloon is in the correct position and filled correctly before the catheter is slowly removed. It really is that simple!
